Smackdown begun just as Raw this past Monday. Edge cuts an in-ring promo bragging about his Heavy weight Championship win…once again. Why am I not surprised? Edge declares that he took an opportunity. He is "a winner, not a loser". Jeff Hardy comes out to challenge Edge for the title. (I'm confused. Does that mean that his rivalry between his brother is over?) Jeff insults Edge by telling him that his wife wears the pants in the relationship. Oh Snap! Notes: Damn! Poor Eve had three seconds in the ring before she was laid to be pinned. Great promo between Miz and Morrison, the Bella Twins, and Carlito and Primo. I mean damn! Morrison's abs are made steel! Besides Morrison's abs…what is up with that get up? It is a funny thought that Morrison walks around showing off his abs like that…even in a fancy restaurant. It had a real purpose, since it does further their rivalry. The WWE hasn't had many good tag team rivalries recently. So, it's good to see these four (or six) of these people fighting amongst each other. Plus, Miz and Morrison crack me up! Notes: Shelton Benjamin and Chavo obviously don't understand the meaning of team work. Although, the upside it that MVP takes the win! It's nice to see MVP winning these days, but I do enjoy him most when he is a heel. Before Jim Ross introduces Triple H for an interview, he shows a clip instead…a clip that goes on for like 5 minutes…well it went on for a long time. There was no reason for that clip to go back that far a few weeks. We know what happened a few weeks ago with Vince and Shane. No need to repeat. We get the point! Great interview…but I have issues with this storyline. All of the sudden Stephanie and Triple H are married again. Ok, I know that they are married in real life. However, in the WWE Universe, they are divorced. Couldn't they have just made up a short explanation for their reunion. I'm just a little disappointed that they chose to disregard previous storylines to serve this one. Not that I'm not excited to see Triple H vs. Randy Orton again. I am. Notes: Umaga has gone back to fighting jobbers. I actually like that he is having these type of matches since it reaffirms how dangerous he is. God…I miss Armando Alejandro Estrada! He was a great manager. When I see Vladimir Kozlov, I keep thinking Rocky IV. "I will break the Undertaker" sounds a lot like "I must break you." Notes: What an explosive match! Edge and Jeff Hardy are great story teller and they built up the match to a great climax with Matt Hardy interfering. So, I guess Matt and Jeff aren't done yet. I can't wait to see what happens in the end. Overall, this was a great Smackdown episode. Obviously, I had some issues with the Triple H interview. Tell me what you thought. Please comment!

RAW RESULTS 2.16.09
Wow! What an episode! Raw ended on a high note with Triple H running out to Stephanie's rescue (a little too late for that, I might add) and hyping up a possible feud with Randy Orton. To be honest with you, I thought that Stephanie was on the phone with Vince earlier, leading me to believe that he was going to return to Raw again. However, I was wrong. Apparently Triple H and Stephanie have rekindled their relationship off-camera. Yes, I know that they have real marriage behind the scenes. Their relationship on-camera took me by suprise, but it is a pleasent surprise. I am glad that Triple H and Stephanie are back together again, because I have always thought they made a great duo.
Although, I thought it was kinda funny that Triple H was hovering over Stephanie's body, holding her hand, and getting very upset. It was only a few years ago that Triple H pedigreed his own wife, Stephanie:
Anyway, let's go through the show rundown.
Edge and his beautiful wife Vickie Guerrero open the show. It was unusual seeing them on Raw, since we usually see them on Smackdown. The World Heavyweight Championship rested on his broad shoulders as he proudly ragged on his special accomplishment of competing in two eliminatin chamber matches. Edge asks if we want to know what the R in Rated R Superstar stands for. He says it stands for remarkable, resplendent or really, really smart. Ha! Ha!
Cena Comes out and congradulates Edge for his win. Cena says the R does stands for many things. Remarkable, Really really lucky, right place right time, and Cena's favorite; rematch. Ha! Ha! Ha! Right back at ya Edge! They continue to set up a promo to fuel a rivalry. Edge vs. Cena pt II, Please!

I would have liked to see more of the actual wrestling and less of the theatrics and promo talk. Overall, it was a very entertaining show. Raw ended on a high note and I can't wait to see what happens next week.

WWE SMACKDOWN RESULTS 11.21.2008
Notes: What's up with Tony Atlas and his sleeveless shirts? Were his guns too big for those sleeves? It's like he's trying to look like the incredible hulk! I'm really glad that R-Truth didn't come out singing Kung-Funaki. Thank God! Matt Hardy and R-Truth Win. Poor Eve! Triple H does great promos, but this one left me shaking my head. Triple H was staring at Eve in the beginning of the interview. He made comments like "are they real?", "they're perfectly shaped and round", and "can I touch them?" which is supposed to lead us to believe he was referring to her breasts. Instead he held up her pearl necklace and went on about how fabulous they were. I guess this little interaction was supposed to have a comic effect, but it failed to bring laughs. I didn't see much of a point in it. Enter Kozlov who uttered in a heavily Russian accent "Goodbye King of the Kings." Every time I see him open his mouth, I keep thinking he'll say "I must break you!" Notes: Finally someone figured out that ringing the bell could work in their advantage. Morrison grabbed the bell and rang it, sending Festus to la la land. Miz hit the Drive By for the win. Miz and Morrison win. Notes: Great Match! 15 minutes in total, but very exciting. Jeff Hardy really overdoes his makeup! I used to think that the hair was too much, but now I think he really wants to get techni-color on us with the extra makeup. Triple H shake's Jeff Hardy's hand at the end of the match. Dammit! When is the old Triple H coming back? He would have taken a sledge hammer to his head! Jeff Hardy Wins. Notes: Those jackets are really getting to me. The Brian Kendrick really likes the Bedazzler! The Brian Kendrick and Ezekiel Jackson win. Notes: As JR reminded us, this was MVP's last match before Survivor Series and he had to win or return his signing bonus. It must suck to not only lose your signing bonus, but to lose to some guy names James Mason in under two minutes. Khali comes out and roams around like the giant that he is. He distracts MVP which allows James Mason to roll up on him and make a pin. Some guy named James Mason wins. Most Valuable Player my ass! Notes: A short four minute match. The highlight of that match is when Brie bitch slapped Natalya. I'm guessing they don't like each other. The Twins did a switcheroo and rolled up on Victoria for the three count…sooo is this going to be gimmick now? Brie and Nikki Bella win. The Undertaker gives the last rites for the Big Show: Or should I saw Big Slow! With the casket in the middle of the ring, The Undertaker came out all dramatic and said that the Show's sins would be paid for. Big Show comes out with the Guerrero's at ringside. Show said he wasn't afraid of Taker talked about the power of his hand. Taker opened the casket and took a step towards them when all of the sudden the lights went off as the bell tolled. The lights came back on and Taker had Vickie by the throat which didn't stop her from screaming like a banshee. Taker picked her up and placed her in the casket and closed it. I thought it was really funny when Chavo ordered Show in to save her. Show looked afraid and like didn't know what to do. Oh Big Slow! You're a wrestler right! You're supposed to run in and save her. Show threw Chavo in the ring. Taker beat on Chavo in the corner and Show jumped in the ring and saved Vickie. Taker Tombstoned Chavo and put him in the casket and closed the lid.

Notes:
- Randy Orton made quite the entrance in his hometown of St. Louis with his sling supporting his arm, reminding all of us that he is out three more months due to injury from a motorcycle accident. Some people don’t like Randy Orton. I like him because he makes a great heal and he has great abs. :)
The usual business of a heel is to due some trash talking. Randy delivered. He said that Raw was an absolute joke without him. He named some names like Beth Phoenix, Santino Marella, and CM Punk and implying that they were the people making WWE Raw one big joke. CM Punk walks into the ring to a big pop from audience and reminds Randy that while he isn’t the conventional champion, at least he isn’t the pathetic one standing in the middle of the ring with a sling around his arm.
Randy leaves and JBL enters the ring yelling at Punk for blah blah blah….I think you know JBL well enough to know what he is pissed about.
Kane and Batista roll out and a little brawl breaks out maybe as a preview of the battle royal that would take place later on.
Overall, Raw kicked of to an exciting start. It was nice to see Randy Orton after a long hiatus and I am sorry that we won’t be seeing him for awhile. On the other hand, I loved seeing more of CM Punk!!! :)
- What is up with Charlie Haas? The poor guy can’t even get his own gimmick, he has to borrow from Carlito and John Cena to get onto TV. I don’t know where this angle is going. I feel bad for this guy. He comes out pretending to be somebody else and then gets his but kicked. I have a feeling that he will be released soon, since the creative team cannot use him in a resourceful way.
- I thought that Randy Orton bitch slapping Cody Rhodes was hysterically funny!!! The WWE superstars have been doing a lot of bitch slapping recently.
- It’s great to see Jamie Noble on television more often. He has an angle with Layla and it seems that it might take more to impress her, but he is winning her over. I like this angle and I hope to see more of Jamie Noble. How can anyone not like him? He is so lovable.
- I love Honk-a-Meter. More Honk-a-meter please!!! Santino tried to get back at Randy Orton. So he put up a Honk-a-Meter and compared himself to the Honky Tonk Man. It was so random that it was funny.
- Rey Mysterio comes back and tries to wop some giant ass with the 619 around the ring post. He is successful with the 619, but eventually gets his ass wopped by Kane. I don’t know what these guys are thinking when facing Kane. It’s FREAKING KANE for God sakes! I’d be running the other way.
- Of course, last but not least – HBK and the Ayatollah of Rock n’ Rolla end the show with a contract signing. This segment was very intense and I liked it. At the same time I am wondering when this rivalry will end, because it has dragged on for too long. They do some smack talking in the middle of the ring. They sign the contract. Shawn Michaels has a McCain moment and says that he will tell his children someday that daddy looked evil right in the face and kicked his ass…well I’m paraphrasing but I pretty sure it went something like that. Shawn Michaels and Chris Jericho look like their about to have a little Smackdown until Lance Cade runs in and wants a piece of the sexy boy. HBK fights with Lance Cade which ends with Lance getting a kick in the head. (Poor Lance!) Chris Jericho is no where to be seen. Raw goes off the air.

GAIL KIM NOT SIGNED TO WWE YET
This afternoon in Tampa, Fl., she met with WWE Vice President John Laurinaitis. They are on the verge of signing her and putting her back onto WWE programming as soon as possible.
In the meanwhile, the WWE has reactivated some of their intellectual properties relating to Gail Kim:

PWMania has confirmed Gail Kim's departure from TNA. Apparently, TNAWrestling.com has removed photos and references of her.
PWMania.com can confirm that Gail Kim has left TNA. All references of Gail Kim including biography and photos have been removed from the official TNA website.
We don’t have details regarding her departure at the moment, however we hope to have more details later today.

The WWE signed a 28 year old weightlifting champion Rob Terry. *Sigh* I hate when the WWE sign big beffy guys with absolutely no wrestling experience. I have a feeling his wrestling career won't be lasting very long.

GAIL KIM BACK TO THE WWE!!!!
This is surprising news since this is the first time I have heard that the WWE has offered Gail Kim a deal. Many news outlets have reported and confirmed that Gail Kim will be leaving TNA for the WWE. If people remember, Kim was a Diva and stayed with the WWE for about two years from 2002-2004. She won the WWE Women's Title right from the time she started appearing on television. She was a fan favorite with WWE fans until she moved to TNA to be apart of the Knockout roster.
PWMania.com reported that word backstage that Gail Kim's contract was due to expire and that negotiations had fallen through.
The backstage word is that many people are surprised with the departure of Gail Kim from TNA Wrestling. Her contract was due to expire and was being renegotiated with everyone expecting her to re-sign with the company, however negotiations between her and TNA fell through which resulted in her departure.
The WWE had been interested in Gail Kim for months. They were always impressed with her and admired her for what she did for the Knockout division in TNA.
It is reported by Wrestlinginc.com, that she was happy at TNA, but the WWE presented her with an offer she couldn't refuse. However, there are no bitter feelings between Gail and Total Non-stop Action. TNA has reportedly left the door open for her whenever she felt like coming back.
Kim left TNA on extremely good terms and the door is always open for a return.
Gail will appear on iMPACT! tonight in a street fight with Awesome Kong.
TNA is definitely losing one of their best Knockouts. The WWE is gaining back a wonderful wrestler for their Diva roster.

OFFICIAL SUMMERSLAM CARD....SO FAR!
Notes:
- I am very excited about this coming Summerslam. The match-ups look great...except I would have perfered a Triple H vs. Jeff Hardy match-up for the WWE Title, but nevertheless we will be seeing Triple H in action.
- I suppose soon enough Jeff Hardy and MVP will be added to the line up from the recent rivalry they have built up. I will be excited to see that put on the card as well.
- Of course, my man CM Punk will be wrestling and hopefully will become victorious over JBL. I have nothing against JBL. I like him just fine...it's just I have a mjor crush on CM Punk and not on JBL. :)

Notes:
- Raw this evening had a lively crowd. They were hyped from beginning to end.
- Believe it or not, I am beginning to like Mike Adamle as the new Raw GM. I can see him becoming a great heel.
- I liked seeing my favorite Diva Mickie James in action. Beth Pheonix attacks her from behind after her match with Katie Lea. This sets up another rivalry with Mickie James. Santino Marrella comes out to cheer on his lovely lady. I like the whole angle with Beth and Santino. It's very funny. I enjoyed the segment between Santino and Adamle, as well. Or is it Ad-em-le? Oh yea....what is up with Santino's newly grown Uni brow?
- The handicap match with JBL, Chris Jericho, and CM Punk was highly entertaining. It was nice to hear the crowd chanting Punk's name.
- I don't understand why HBK only has a promo for Summerslam. He's not performing? Oh yea...and about that eye injury....if HBK can comeback from a back injury, then I think that he can comeback from an eye injury like a piece of cake.
- I'm getting board of this Kane and sack thing...can we get that moving along, please?
- John Cena bitch slaps Batista....daaaammnnnn!

BREAKING NEWS: RICK FLAIR AND WWE PART WAYS
Update: WrestlingInc is reporting that the split is amicable. Both sides have ended on good terms. The problem apparently leading to this split was that Flair's contract had prevented him from accepting offers outside the WWE.
Also, there is planned a theme for the WWE 24/7 programming for the month of September called "Flair Forever" which looks at Rick Flairs career including a round table feathuring the Nature Boy himself. It isn't clear if that will come through or not.
I will keep you updated for more.
Update 2: WWE.com has confirmed the release:
"WWE and Hall of Famer Ric Flair have mutually agreed to contractually part ways. After an extraordinary career Ric has chosen to pursue opportunities outside of WWE."
Rick Flair has released a statement confirming this split:
"WWE and I parted on the best of terms. This gives me the chance to pursue new opportunities...corporate speaking engagements, product sponsorships, autograph shows for my loyal fans (who made me what I am today) and film and television roles. My agent and I are very excited about what the future holds!"
